Linkage
Im putting a Holley 650 4 Barrel on my 351M and the linkage thats on the truck is not going to fit the new carb. Im sure there are plenty of yall that have done a similar swap and have an easy fix. Do I have get a new linkage or can I modify mine to work? I concidered cutting the ends off of both the linkage that I got with the carb and the one thats on the truck and welding/sleeving the two together that would work, this is only a last resort though and Im pretty sure theres a better option out there. Thanks for all yall's help. this is my first carburated V8 so forgive me If im unimformed.

Why not just go get a cable throttle linkage instead? It would probably be faster and a lot more reliable. I think some of the newer Ford trucks used them so you could find the brackets and other stuff to mount it on one of them.
