Question

Rear Differential Fluid Type

I was going to change fluid in rear differential in my 1999 F250. Was wondering what would be the best fluid to refill with. I frequently tow heavy Rv trailer. Thankyou Alan in Wisconsin

I would say 75/140 synthetic. Some synthetics may not require a friction modifier.
If going with Ford 75/140 then pick up the XL3 modifier.

i run the amsoil 75-90wt extreme pressure oil. no friction modifier for the limited slip. works great, im towing a 12k trailer 3x a week with the truck no problems
