Mine too. I fitted BFG AT 285/75 r16 on stock rims and they were fine. But then I had the front wheels alighned (as they were toe out) and now they rub on the springs when turning full lock in either direction, I also would like to fix this. Anyone ????
That pic is off a truck that was running 44" TSLs on 12" wide wheels.
That truck was done how mine is, drilled and tapped.
You don't need a huge amount to prevent tire rubbing, the hex head on a 1/4-20 bolt was almost enough to prevent my 38/14.50R16s on 16x10s from rubbing.....what tire/wheel combo are you running?
What would cause just one side to rub? I run 16.5x9.75 Welds with 37x12.50 tires and they rub on the right front spring when turning right? Something else it rubs on that fender too but not the other side. Had it aligned and Ford says its fine!
