How much horsepower?
Hi,
I just bought my first truck and its a 1985 Ford F-150 XLT and its a special edition? I was wondering why it would be a special edition if any of you guys could help me i'd appreciate it.
And 1 more thing, It has a brand new 1998 302 engine, and i was wondering how many horse's i get out of it? Thanks

How much horsepower?
1998 engine? Does this mean a rebuilt or a crate engine? Ford only used the 302 in the Explorer in 1998. It produced 215hp for '98. I would presume the motor was setup for 1985 configuration. Speed Density it would produce 185hp and 270ft/lbs.
