Yup. Keep the doors from opening and closing with too much force, AT LEAST 4 for the hood, to keep it stabilized at low-rollin-speeds, gas cap, ashtray, tailgate, ESPECIALLY tailgate. Those 13 year olds REALLY cry when they fall outta the back of the Chukee Cheese lot-cruzer, even more so when you have a Dana 60/70, 14" lift, and 44" Swampers.
if it was a serious question maybe we would! it doesn't take half a pea brain to figure up stuff to make a better offroad truck, not to mention CHEAP and OFFROAD really dont go well in the same sentence
maybe if he lurked here for a while and read some posts and then asked more specifically what he wanted to do then we would be more inclined to help . but he doesn't want to do any work, he just wants to ask a question and expect all of us to throw out good ideas when we know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about him or his truck (other than 88 F250 add a leaf all the way around flowmaster exhaust 35x12.5 bf mudders on american racing rims) which in my honest opinion is a pretty decent start.

well I still didn't see anyone mention that to have a true offroad vehicle you MUST have neon lights under it too, and don't worry about the kids falling out of the bed cause it should be one big speaker, and what about hydraulics so that you can raise, and lower it (makes it easier for the mall chicks to get in) and you can make it hope like a stupid bunny rabbit.
Now personally I think Pro had a decent start with the A460 block, and stroker, but atleast have a set of A460 heads to go with it (I would suggest C460s or A441s but he did say cheap.)

Those model numbers on the heads go according to price. The A441's are CHEAPER than the A460's. As the number increases so does the cost. A989's are insanely expensive.
2.know your truck inside and out and what its capable of.
3.Don't be afraid to buy USED parts
4.To keep it cheap it is going to involve A LOT of WORK, as it can't be kept cheap if you have to get everything done by someone else.
5.Lastly (as someone in this thread or another said) don't let WANT get in the way of NEED., because offroad a bigger motor, or better rubber is more important than a loud stereo or killer paint job.
Damn those are cheap tires, thats 30 bucks a tire less than what i paid for the firestone indy 500 radials on the back of my flareside (and they were on sale) i might have to pick up a set so i don't burn off my boggers for street driving.
