05 Superchip OK?

yo, ive heard that new for 2005, the truck's 'computer' logs if you have used a chip or not? i have been doing some research, wondering if any one has heard of this? supposidly if you have an 2004 you are ok?! any comments on which chip i should look at would be appreciated. intake is ganna be installed next week. cheers!
