10K mod question

I used to have both the 5.6 and 10K resistors on a toggle, but my current chip revision is turned up enough that the resistors were pretty much worthless on the high setting. In fact, the 5.6K cost me 12 HP on the dyno so the resistors and switch are in the toolbox.

The reed switch is just a small cartridge type of switch that completes or opens a circuit when it receives power. I used a +5v switch (normally open)from Radio Shack that I spliced into the IVC on the throttle pedal. You want the switch to complete the circuit once the IVC switch kicks in.... the IVC switch will have +5v going into it on one side, and return to the computer on the other. On my 97 the Gry/Blk wire is the return voltage to the computer... I tapped into that wire for the reed switch. When the idle switch kicks on, about +5v returns to the computer.
