E-350 Air Conditoning
2005 Chateau - 7 passenger...
What's the quickest way to cool the driver and passenger in a hot van?
1) Front a/c only
2) Both front and rear
In other words, does the use of the rear air conditioning detract from the front (share the capacity), or does it supplement it?
Also, does the air conditioning system work full out at idle, or is there a minimum engine rpm for max efficiency?

Ok, if you have the rear air option then you need to use both. The front system is a reduced output to compensate for the rear.
