Try allseasonsuniforms for a large selection, although not many color choices. I've seen blue, black, duck, natural (white) and hickory stripe. I've never ordered from them, though, so I can't tell you about service.
I've worn Carhartt bibs, coats and overalls nearly all my adult life. Working construction, you need tough clothing that will stand up to the rigors of abuse, and Carhartts can take it. Union Made in Ameica of quality materials. I've worn many denim bibs over the years for just "kicking around" in, and while they are more comfortable than the cotton duck that Carhartt uses, none of them wore as well. IMO, the Carhartts are more for wearing over your other clothes, than AS your clothes...
Carhartt bibs are the best. I get the ones that have the extra cloth over the knees. They put a lot of effort into detail, like the "drain" they put on the kneepads to keep the dirt out, or the buttonhole sewn at the top of the bib and special sideways pocket on the breast for a pocket watch - even if you don't see them much any more.
I wear my bibs for work to cut down on back problems. The only thing I don't like about them is there's no place to put my leatherman.
Well I got a pair. Dickies. (Hecho in Mexico, unfortunately) But we're on a budget. They were on sale for a mere $14.
I had asked for a pair for Christmas and noone came through. My Mom went as far as to say she'd never buy me a pair and added that she hated them.
In fact she came clean about something. My uncle had gotten my dad a pair of them a few years ago. Dad wore them a couple of times, and then Mom hid them for a while. As soon as she figured he wasn't thinking about them anymore she burned them out back in the burn barrel.
My mother is normally very prim and propper and frugal, and the idea that she'd destroy a perfectly good pair of bibs really made me chuckle.
Key does. I have five pair of them. I'm 18 years old, and wear bibs everywhere ,to school, to town, it doesn't matter. They're the most comfortable clothes. And i'm 6'3" and weigh in at about 330 pounds. They're definately more comfortable than any blue jeans.
I used to wear bibs years ago because I could just jump into them and hit the road. Then I had to go to a church picnic with my ex one time and was out playin volley ball with a bunch of girls from the church. Jumpin around and actin all manly ya know? Then I noticed all the chicks from this church group starin and laughin and it wasn't till then that a little breeze below the waist.
Score another on Carhatts. My biggest problem is from all the poser people wearing the Carhatts and their JD hats. Carhatt may be a big name but they have some tuff clothin'
I have 8 pair of them, I would wear them to work if it weren't for that "office attire" clause! So basically I go home from work and put on my work clothes.
I have 1 pair of Carharrt denim bibs, 1 pair of Carharrt insulated (black, new), 1 pair of key denim bibs, 1 pair of Key insulated (used to be brown, now brown with large spots of oil, grease, rips, tears, blood etc), 1 pair that are falling apart of Berco wear (the most comfortable insulated pair I have, similar in color to the Key brand), 1 pair of Dans wear (briar proof, waterproof and begger's lice won't stick to them, I use them solely for quail hunting).
