rotten roof
does anyone know if the roofs were the same on the 67-72 as the 73-79 i need the section above the windshield since mine is right about gone. ive made so many patches already and this one would probably kill me. my plans are to chop the roof of a truck and its hard to find the 67-72 trucks in ontario.

there are SEVERAL in the salvages around here in Oklahoma....I am sure if you paid for shipping and the part, one could be had right away. and no price gouging for a fellow FTE er.

The top caps are different on the 67-72 than the 73-79 cabs. the 73-79 back wall has a steeper angle. The windshields are the same so the front portion may work if yu want to do a little cutting and welding.

redhawk is right. I bought the windshield out of a 78 for my 72 but the salvage yard guy told me that the rear-sliding glass window out of the same 78 wouldn't work. It's funny cause I just checked on that this morning.
