Cover Recommendations

I'm looking for a cover for my garage kept 50 F-1. It's mostly so I don't have to wash it all the time because of the dust, grime, and occasional bird do do that accumulates when it's parked. It's stock externally except for the bed side extensions (see gallery). I'm hoping to find something that fits fairly well for around $100 or less. Thanks.

I bought a cheapo at Walmart for $20. They are not water proof, but keep the dust and bird poop off. The size you need, I believe, is the #4. Good luck, John

I have to park outside until my garage is done so I have heavy duty NOAH fabric covers for my Panel and both cars. NOAH would be overkill for indoor use, but I got all mine custom made to fit from California Car Cover. They have several other less expensive fabrics to select from and will modify their patterns to fit your vehicle's configuration, for example our Celica is sans rear wing a rarely seen configuration but they made the cover without the wing area, and put in pockets for the door mirrors and non retracting antenna. The quality and fit was excellent.

Mid-Fifty has a nice indoor cover. Fits well and breathes. About $100. It would not last for prolonged outdoor use.

Thanks for the replies. I tried the cheapo $20 walmart one today but it was a little too small. It looks like I'll be buying one of the more expensive ones. I called Mid Fifty today and they gave me some numbers to call. Right now I'm looking at a $90 one from Covercraft.

I checked my California Car Cover catalog. It says their covers start at 89.00. I know Mid Fifty gets their Noah covers from CCC, and they make a lot of the ones others sell. Like I said their covers are a generous fit. I an very pleased with their products and would just immediately go to them if and when I need another cover.
Hint: if you want to go with CCC, call them directly, they are very slow to reply to emails.

Now I'm glad that I had the cheap Walmart cover. Somebody stole it off the truck last night!! I had my name on it front and back so I might see it around the neighborhood. Jag
