Exhaust

What is the best way to improve your exhaust if you don't want to spend the money on an entire new system?
2002 7.3L F-350

you could just replace the down-pipe with a larger one, you could replace the muffler with a straight-through design, you could remove the muffler completely... etc.

I removed my muffler, and actually ended the exhaust at that point. I then used a turndown and let it exit there. It has a beautiful sound and I havn't had a problem with black soot like some folks thought I would.

A lot of what you choose to do will also depend on how loud/quiet you want your truck.

hey 02 super you wouldnt by chance have pics of where it ends?

also you wouldnt have a sound clip of what it sounds like would you?

im just REALLY curious what it sounds and looks like.

Walker BTM replaces stock muffler. Nice sound and gives close to what you would get from a full 4inch cat back. You can get them shipped from blackclouddiesel.com for $54 or order one from NAPA part number walker 21470
I do have the BTM install up on my site, http://www.bigdaddydiesel.com then go to TECH and its BTM. Thats the only thing I have up there right now. Its all in the works.

Thanks. I'm still editing pictures to put up, hope to have more done later.
I felt a little more power, not alot but it was a noticible to me via my butt- dyno.
