Question 95 Ford F-150 won't start

Hi all,

I have a 95 Ford F-150 4x4 w/200k miles. The truck has been sitting for a couple of weeks in my drive way, but ran fine before it was parked. The truck now will not start, when I turn the key I here a clicking sound but the motor doesn't turn. I just changed the starter and battery but nothing happens. Please help.......

Please check your battery cables for signs of corrosion. Replace if you see any. Also clean your ground connections on the block and frame.

Let us know how you make out.

Cheers,
popa Tim

I had this problem this week. I replaced the neg. battery terminal but last night it did it again, today I replaced the neg. cable . The end attached to the motor was corroded now it starts right up. Like Popa Tim said check the ground points on the block.
