I was wondering about the trueflow kit. same thing, right? I just like the red elbows for the tube and the red filter. (matches my scheme) I dont want to mess anything up with the computer, though. Stupid to think that way, I know, but I was afraid that with the exhaust and all the computer would need to be reset. the lightning comes with a reflased computer from the factory for that right?
.ru? You know that's Russia don't you? Airaid redesigned the tube on the 2004+ intake because it caused a lot of problems with engine ping and bad air/fuel ratios especially when used with a tuner. If its too good to be true, it probably is. I'm willing to bet its a left-over first design or a bootleg.
I live in Vegas so let's bet, hows $500.00 sound? I've my cash ready.
Installed it this morning, only tokk about 20 mins. took it for a ride and maybe its wishful thinking but seem to be a difference. a little more pep off the bat. have a flowmaster 40 with stock pipes and at first seemed to get a bit quieter, but after driving around town it when back to the same tone, which i love. in the directions it said to disconnect the negative battery terminal. i did it and was wondering if that would reset the computer to where it would ride the way it did when i first got it until it broke in. heard and read the computer actually remembers how you drive and performs to that way. any insight and info would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

Guess I don't follow instructions well. I didn't disconnect the battery when installing mine. Didn't see a reason too. Must admit I got weird computer MPG readings for the first few weeks, but now it seems to have settled in.
