Supertuner rookie

I need some help. I am thinking about getting the Supertuner, but really have no experience with things like this. I have a bunch of questions that I was hoping someone could help me on.

1) does it void any warranty
2) how do you install it
3) can you change the settings often, like if I set it on performance mode, and then take a long highway trip, can I change it to mileage mode, then back to performance mode when I get back home
4) can I do this install myself
5) what effects will I notice with it

If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

1. only if ford can prove that the tuner is the direct cause of the failure. Just put the stock program in before taking it back to the dealer, what they dont know....

2. Plug into the OBD II port under the steering wheel and follow the on screen directions, pretty easy.

3. Changing a settting or tuning mode only requires time. It takes about 10 mins start to finish to change settings or modes.

4. Yes, see #2

5. Throttle lag gone, hard to notice power increase, depending on settings for shift firmness and shift points you will notice huge differences. ie stock my truck shifted out of 1st at 36mph at WOT, superchip setting was 40mph and my prefered setting is about 30 mph. It is just fun to change.

Oh forgot, if you feel the need for speed you can remove the computer control top speed limiter and go until the truck runs out of steam....

Thanks for the much needed info. I am really thinking about getting one, because my truck seems to have poor response compared to our Expedition '04, which has the same engine.
