All is excellent on the tank...or the "Blue Moose"... Daily driver? Are you kidding? That SOB sucks 4 times the gas my Neon does ( that is my DD ). Just threw on a new Holley Dual Feed 750 and dumped the Carter 625 POS...runs like a top. My first time playing with a holley...but it was a snap to tune. Just needs some headers and open exhaust.
The difference between the 4.10 and the 3.73 gears turns out to be around 5mph at 55....so stick to 50 on the speedo and all is well. I gps-ed it a few weeks ago.
We are taking it down to the Lake of the Ozarks on Thrusday night..staying for 10 days...dragging the boat along too.
The 69 is still sitting in the garage waiting for some time.
Look in the Iowa for sale thread...you will see the brakes that wouldn't fit on my new ( your old ) axle.
Still looking for doors for the 77!
Didnt mean to hijack the thread....back to 70 mph....the 77 won't go that fast! and if I did push it like that...what, maybe 5mpg?

LOL... y, I figured your truck was a little thirsty for a DD on a long commute. I thought I read that you were putting the Neon on the sideline for a while until you got a head or something.
Back to 70 mph.... This morning was the first time I could set the cruise on 70 and flow with the traffic. Nice drive.
