It won't start?????????
Well my new (to me) 2000 F250 7.3 PSD that I thought I got such a good deal on...won't start. I spoke to the previous owner and he said he never had a problem with it not starting. My neighbor said it sounded like a faulty fuel pump. Oh man, not what I was wanting for a 2 day old (to me, again) truck!!!
Any words of wisedom, condolense??????

If it were my truck. A 89 7.3L pretty much all mechanical. I'd start by plugging the block heater in. Make sure the batteries were up to the test. Could be the engine is not turning over fast enough. (Bought my truck from what turned out to be a shadey character -- he replaced the new batteries I saw while checking the truck out with close to dead ones the day I picked the truck up.) Add some diesel kleen and maybe sea foam in the tanks. After you're sure the batteries are charged, the fuels good, and block is heated. Still not starting chase down the fuel,compression, and electrical issues.
