Throwout Bearing
Okay. So, my throwout bearing makes a little noise. The rig is a 76 f100 4x4 with a 390 and T19. My question is to whether it is at all possible to replace the bearing without ripping the motor or tranny/t-case out. I dont have the floor on it right now, so I could pop the lid on it if there's any way to take out the shaft with the spline from the top. THANKS!!!!

No way I know of. The motor has to be separated from the trans. Make sure you get the right bearing, there is a short or a long one.

Replace it quick, I had one seize up and eat the fingers off of the pressure plate, made my drive home interresting, can't stop.
