My ABS light was coming on after pulling my foot off the Pedal at start-up... So the ABS Computer seems to check-out but it would be a Sensor...
I replaced the Rear Diff Sensor and YEP light came right back on... Any other ideas??
Also is it possible to disable the light for a day??? I need to get my VA inspection (not scanning yet in our County) and I'm assuming an ABS light is a Quick Failure

If The abs light goes off after abuot 3 or 4 seconds after start up thats norman.. its just the ecm running the abs through a series of self checks ... my question is and i didn't see where you mentioned it.... does it stay on all the time and while driving to .
Yep , hes right, its a stored (dtc) hard code .. you will need a scan tool to pull retreive the code .. then you should be able to determine the the problem.
Did you try disconnecting the battery after you replaced the sensor? I replaced the same sensor on my 99 xlt awd and the light would not go off until I reset the code.
