best way to strip old window tint quickly
subject pretty much says it all. i'm having difficulty getting to the tint shop for a 3 hr session with my schedule and theirs as i refuse to drop off the truck and let them drive me to work and then drive my truck to my work since i get off after they close. they're not sending my truck to me by way of some dumb kid. not thru the construction around here. they said if i stripped the tint myself it'd take less time and cost less so what's a good way to strip off that junk?

It easiest way
Score the tint 3-4 times and spray heavly with Windex. Then wrap black plastic garbage bags around the windows, for front and back just place them on top. Leave the car in the sun for about 2 hours. Then peel, couldn't be easier.

Tint spray is nothing more than deionized water with a little dish soap in it. Amonia can be harmfull to tint. You can stick newspaper on it and keep it wet for a while before starting.

if you're stripping old tint off to replace it with new, i wldn't worry about harming the tint cuz it's not gonna be reused or anything.....

the back glass was the only one tinted, it's faded to purple and bubbling up around the edges and corners ... but i finally said to heck with it, i didn't have time till i got fired anyway and i'd already made the appt to have it done at this place.. the guy called one of his strippers in special cuz i never cld bring it in during the week.. till i got fired ... so i just had them do it ... it looks way better now than it did and i'm real happy with the place that did it except the cost seemed a little much for my taste but guys got the best rep around here and has been doing good work for 22 years now so i guess you pay the price for the best around ... i'll try to get new pics with the windows tinted and stuff
