power chips

Ford does not make a power chip.
Ford can void your warranty if you have a chip and they think the chip caused the problem. Says so in the warranty itself.
You can get a programmer to give you power, and return it to the stock program when you need your truck serviced by Ford. That way if you need to "hide" your power enhancer, you can this way.

There are certain perameters that the Ford scanners can read and it reveals that "this truck has been modded" I don't know specifically which ones, but I have read here and on the dieselstop where it's possible. They are not P-codes or anything like that, just fuel trim too high or something along those lines.
What I am trying to say is if you really want to preserve your warrenty and have no hassles, leave it alone until the warrenty expires. However if you want to mod, mod away! Just be willing to play and pay.
