I had a set of these on my last truck, a Dodge Durango, and noticed some improvement, but not as much as expected, really.
Now, I'm wondering if these Roadmaster springs might be a good upgrade on the Excursion, given the problems 4x4 Excursions are known to have with 'axle-wrap' occuring. Maybe these Roadmaster springs might be a good solution to that problem, and an alternative to radius rods.
Was curious, if anyone has tried these Roadmaster springs (www.activesuspension.com) on their Excursion, and might could give some insight on how it improved things, if at all?
I've had for over a year. Along with Helwig bar, I get a nice steady ride. No steering problems over bumps and no wandering. I pull a 9000 lb trailer at times and have very little sag (maybe an inch) at rear.
