ok, FTE wouldnt let me upload the pic i have of my Colt AR15 for my avatar, because its too big of a picture. can anyone help me out? maybe a funny one, or a cool one, like a machine gun or that one of Bush punching Saddam... i still like the Colt AR15 idea....
first resize it with the windows picture editor. that will reduce the picture down to the 80x80 pixel size limit and still keep it to scale. then use the gifworx program and reduce the color palett to get it down to the 6k size limit. gif is nice cuz it shows you what the picture looks like and the corresponding file size for each reduction
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH i tried for a half hour to change it to a .gif format and i dont think my computer will let me, and trying to resize it wasnt working too well... well... just when i thought i maye have had it figured out a circut breaker in my house popped and shut off my computer. maybe the guys on AR15.com have a pic of an AR15 i can steal from them, but i want a pic of MINE!! otherwise Mil1ion sent me a loink to the perfect avatar... but its not gun related

I tried the same thing and I still get the error message- cannot find .... and so on. I have tried adding the url= phrase and deleting the http phrase and still no luck. Any ideas?
