avatar help

i got my gallery created but i cant get a avatar picture, i did a search and tried the advice but i cant seem to get the picture small enough. do i need to take a new picture from a distance so i can crop out more background? im surprized i got as much as i have done. never used a digital camera before. maybe i just need a break from it for awhile.

Reduce it to 60x60 pixels with a photoshop program or just search the web for avatars.

o.k. thanks, i'll get to it later, dad just bought a used 6600 combine and im helping him get it home. its about 20 miles away. so this could take awhile.
