Here we go...'88 with the passenger power window stuck down. With the driver's side and passenger switch, the window will go down but not up. After screwing around with the passenger side switch, I ended up breaking it. So I just got a replacement. It doesn't work either. Driver's side switch for driver's side window works just fine. Wiring problem? Motor shot since it will just go down? I'm at a loss. I have a Haynes manual, but trying to figure out the schematic is hopeless. I do have a multimeter, can anyone walk me through what I need to do to find my problem and get it fixed? You guys have helped me out so much in the past with other problems, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
My rear window… quit, runs slowly/, shattered/ went south/ is stupid/ is possessed/ stuck down in the rain… how do I fix it?
There is a wealth of information on this issue because it seems to be such a common problem with so many of these trucks. Perhaps the best and most informative site I have found is this one regarding replacement of the tailgate.
A thorough explanation could be shown here but its been said before many times over. The recommendation is to check the aforementioned sites and search the Big Bronco forum for further answers.
