It's not. You can get the exact same results the BHA would give without spending a dime. All the BHA does is increase the seat pressure on the wastegate, making it harder to open. You can adjust the pressure on your stock wastgate by shortening the wastegate actuator arm, or you can disable the wastegate completely by simply unplugging the wastegate actuator.

Cool grill! But your grill only has 2 thin slits. Any increase in engine temperature, or does the fan pull enough air from the bottom and sides of the grill.
I have the same grill as Cookie and I have never had an increase in engine temp with it. That also includes towing horse trailers, boats and plowing snow. The two slots are the factory grill, if you look closely you'll see hundreds of little slats. It's been on for almost three years now.

I've never had a temperature related problem through several gazillion degree Arkansas summers. Seems to flow plenty.
any probs with a stock motor if you undo the waste gate? what do you need to do if you just want to shorten the actuator arm? if you upgrade to a predator and intake/exhaust, is the modification or elimination of the wastegate going to hurt the motor..?
I forgot to mention I have one and it says 38psi on a label of the powerhead. But I've yet to see 15 psi since I don't tow. But the original owner said he saw over 20 psi towing. When they installed it they forgot to turn the locknut down to the end of the lever. So I did that. I tried to pull it off the turbo but couldn't. Or else I would have tried shortening the rod. Just wish that wasn't so far back in the engine so I can get to it. Really I have no idea how anyone can comfortably work on anything in the engine compartment.
i pulled off the hose going to the actuator and pluged it. maybe it's just me, but i think the mule has a little more giddyup...! i am going to shorten the actuator rod, as soon as i get a nice day, and i'm feeling like plastic man...! i sure is a tough stretch to get back in there....

Technically, it's not more giddyup. It's just using more of the giddyup that was already there.
hey guys... i had unpluged the actuator, my mule ran a little stronger, but when i went to start it up today, (cold engine), she smoked like a damn stack, i mean really smoked...! fogged up the whole yard in just 2 mins. i shut her down, hooked that damn wastegate back up, and she stopped smokin' 30 seconds after i started her back up..... what's up with this...? what does this thing do for the motor when it's cold that keeps it from smokin'....
