What up my powerstroke brothers and sisters. I come to you again with a purchasing dilema. I have some spare cash and am looking at a few things to purchase. I am looking at the Edge Juice w/attitude 717.00, looks great, looks like it does some cool stuff. Then on the otherhand there is the preditor system. A bit cheaper, not as cool and NO GAUGES. Am I correct in thinking that the Edge will cover my need for gauges? The way I am thinking is that gauges will be at least 3 bills, and pred is 4, =7 . So I should just go get the edge. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Anyone have an edge? Digital gauges accurate? Thank again. Rich
You are right in the aspect of 3 Bills for gauges. Just bought mine last week A little over 300 for the Autometer Z-Series gauges and 60 some for the A-Pillar pod.
Now you have to weight the options, Do you want digital gauges? Is there another gauges company or style you prefer?
I'm running the Predator and only installed it last week. It really woke the truck up and gave me everything I was looking for. So far I have Zero complaints with the Predator. Now keep in mind I have no experience with te Edge Juice.
I like the Edge because of the ability to change the settings on the fly, just by hitting a button on the dash. Does anyone know if i can adjust the idle rpm with the edge, or any of those type of options that the pred has??
Thanks Cat man, ill send it right over, whats your bank account #s, and pertinent personal info. I will be sure to wire it right over. . Aghhh, decisions decisions, this stuff kills me.
Hey man - sweet - I'll get that info right over to ya!! Seriously - good problem to have though!! Enjoy whatever you decide on!! Good luck - it took me 2 months to decide on what brand of flip chip to go with!!
Stacks, naaa, on the list, EBPV Brake, AIC (on the way), nappa air filter jimmi-jam, electric exhaust dump (sleeper style), then my quandry about the edge.
my only question for you is, do you have a manual or an auto, if an auto, do you have a shift upgrade..? one of the posts in here mentioned that he spun his tranny in 8k using the edge juice with attitude, because it has no upgrade for tranny shift firmness.. don't get me wrong, i like that edge settup, but i can't afford a new tranny... so, untill i know more about it... i'll have to keep reading and learning... thanks to all the great people at FTE..!
