Ok, hopefully someone can help me with this one, as I'm totally baffled. I was driving down the road today, just minding my own business jamming to some tunes and checking out the hottie in the next lane when *BAM!* At first I thought I had run over something, but after checking the mirrors that wasn't the case.
Later on, I stop in at the local Choke-n-Puke for a bite and hit the emergency brake *FWAMP!* which goes to the floor with no resistance. Boggled, I release it and try again......and it acts normal.
When I leave though, I release the brake and take off, and the emergency braked seemed to be still on for a few dozen feet then *CLUNK!* rear end pops up and all is well. I get home and start checking things out, but there's no broken cables, no kinked lines, and no binding anywhere.....so what gives? Anyone have a clue?
I noticed when I busted the parking brake on my truck (the metal crimp that attaches the line to the pedal) the line actually goes along the drivers side frame, maybe you got something hung up on the line and it was yanking on it...or something in the drums blew up you never know
