How do you check your cat's?
Is there a way to check to see how clogged your catalytic converters are w/o yanking them off to do a flow test on them?

How do you check your cat's?
Well, a buddy of mine had a truck that quit on him.
Towed it to the shop and they figured out that the cat(s) was clogged.
He was short on cash, so they cut the cat open and peeled back the cover, cleaned them out and tack welded the cover back together.
You might end up doing this too, if you don't want to take the cat off.

How do you check your cat's?
Take the truck to a trusted muffler shop, ask them to do a cat test for you...I had my trucks tested, to do it they put me in the truck and put me up on the lift 
they cut little holes in front of and behind both the cats, than I started the engine, they took a reading, then had me rev and hold at 2k rpm for about 20 seconds while they checked all of the readings.
