Check out the LARGE amoung of space left between the I-Beam and new Radius Arm. That's a 1/8" thick washer that's on there now, just to give you an idea of the size of the gap.
Looks like I get to just kick back and relax until I get some more info from ProComp on this, but to say the least I'm far from satisfied at the moment. What could have been finished yesterday morning is now in the "God knows when" category.

Did you ever get the gap figured out? I also have a 94 F150 2WD, but I have a 4" Cepeck Lift and a 2" body lift. Currently I am in Korea and my Truck is in Vegas, so I can't go out and look at it. If I remember right I think there is a small gap that is filled with a flat washer 1 on top 1 on bottom. Let us know how you make out.
Good Luck
Kevin

Yeah... Ain't the Twin I-Beam wonderful?
I just put a 2.5" lift from "Rough Country" on my 1996 2WD F-150. The kit lowered the pivot points for the beams 2.5", but the new springs made the total lift more like 3". This has resulted in an unacceptable negative caster because the kit did not include brackets to lower the radius arms.
Rough Country insists that the radius arms do not need to be lowered, but it is obvious to even a lay person, that the current configuration is not right. The bushings are under severe stress and the truck will not track correctly as bumps in the road cause the suspension to move up and down. The only radius arm brackets I can find are a minimum of 4", so I am having to have some custom made to bring my alignment back into normal specs.
It's turning into more of a project than I anticipated, but it is not completely impossible. My truck looks awesome. The proportions of the standard cab, short bed with the lift and 31 X 10.5 tires is perfect.
P.S. As long as I had the rear axle off, I decided to replace the rear transmission seal. It had been leaking just like my 1994 when it was new. I used a small bead of sealant around the seal and it seems to have corrected the leak. No more dripping on the driveway or grarage floor.
My transmission had lost about two quarts of fluid in five years of dripping, so you might want to check yours if you have the Mazda 5 spd manual tranny because I know it leaks, too. :-)

The bad news is my alignment shop called today and I need new ball joints....OUCH! I'm just glad I didn't put in that next parts order yet.
