one more?
Friends! Can you handle another newbie? I've been browsing this site for awhile and thought I'd pose a question or two. I am starting a 54 rebuild and have already run the vin#. Every thing seems to match as far as running gear but my grille and emblems seem to look like the ones pictured on a 53. Where to look to see if it was built that way or not?

Have you set up a gallery? Pics would be nice. More than likely if you have the 53 grille, someone has swapped out the correct one for the one they liked or could find after an accident. Ford never built a vehicle by mixing different year parts like that. If it's a 54, it came with a 54 grille.

Hi Barry. I just found a description on Earl's page it looks like a 53 and the emblems are shown on the 55 description. I actually prefer them over the 54. The vin says it was built in Chicago.
