Have had a rough idle occasionally while sitting at stop lights for about 1 1/2 weeks, finally took the truck in (wednesday) and they replaced the EGR and reflashed truck, in which the truck ran fine until this afternoon the rough idling started again only somewhat worse. Managed to scrounge up code reader and got a P1000 and a P0272. P0272 states "Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault". Can anyone tell me what this means? Also my dealer made no mention of any other concerns other than the reflash and the EGR. I would think that if I have the same symptoms today as I did on Wednesday, should'nt they have seen this code on Wednesday also? If this is a difficult fix, maybe they are giving me the run around.(Just thinking out loud). Still have all 8 original C94 injectors also. Any help would be appreciated.
Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault means that your number 4 cylinder is not firing the way it should compare to the other 7. There could be a number of reasons for that, injector being one of them. Sounds like you might want to try another service department.
I'll give my dealer one more shot at it, should I let them know that I know what the codes are or should I just play dumb and see if they try to fix it?

I had a bad contribution/balance code on #6. Now have 5000 miles on a new engine.
