Clock Spring Repair

94 F-150 Has anyone had any sucess in repairing clock spring

Do you mean actually repairing the clockspring or installing a new one.

There are several posts on how to replace it.
I searched for them and read up on it and had it
replaced in less than 30 minutes.

as for repairing the clockspring itself I cant help.

Yes I mean repair I read one post about repairing it ,Ihad wondered if anybody else had tried

repairing a clock spring is not a good idea. If you do something wrong and a short shound happen you may eat an airbag!

It is not worth the risk!

You are probably right,there was a post from Rick dated 7-8-99 describing what he did I personaly have not seen what a clock spring looks but i will find out tomorrow
