Dealer says that if certain items did not come with the truck, it isn't wired for it. Apparently, the reverse sensors are one of these items. This is what I was told. I have a very difficult time believing it but thus far, I have not seen any evidence to the contrary. I suspect that heated seats may be a similar item hence the reluctance to get involved with it. I suggest he dig around under the seat and look for the plug to prove me right or wrong.

I asked the dealer to quote me a price to do the install, and they declined to do so. The electricl tech had done one previously and found it to be more trouble than he wanted to deal with so he declined to price mine. Pretty lame, but that's what happened. I figure I will do th work myself if I decide to add them. Better I do it for the first time wanting to have it done it than have a dealer tech with a bad attitude doing it. No shortcuts if I do it.
