Some people get arrested, but go free quickly. They post bond, or the charges are dropped. What will be your next move if the guy shows up again in 5 days??? What if he shows up in 2 months?
I hope he is out of your life, you made a good call. Our instinct to protect our family and territory usually guides us to do the right thing, you got a bad feeling about him, stuck with your gut reaction and called it right! Never let your guard down, sooner or later another stranger will come along and get too close for comfort.
