I tried posting this in a mustang forum, thank heavnes for us tough truck people.
I have a heart most of the time, but today I just broke my heart. I went out today, into the dry desert around Las Vegas. I got out to a dry lake where I often fly radio control airplanes. Today there was a couple (guy, and gal) in a mustang stuck in the sand. I went up to them and started to ask if I could assist, and the guy pulled a gun on me. Now folks you need to know I have a ccwp. And I always carry a weapon concealed. But today I was out in the dry lake and I had my normal concealed 38, and a 44 in a visable holster on my right side.
This guy being hispanic, cannot tell me nothing, all though he was spelling out some kind of un-intelligebale crap. I pulled my 38 and my 44 in my weak hand and started shooting. I never tried to hit him, and luckily I did not. But he sure took off in a hurry!!!
Liberals should put signs on their houses saying "we have no guns here". Then the criminals would rob them, and leave us gun toting folks alone!
Yeh they took off. That mustang sprayed rocks and sand for three hundred feet. He was stuck but not that bad!

Woaw thats crazy. Why did he pull a gun on you? What is a ccwp anyways? Up here where I am from, you never hear of stuff like that, fortunatly. Thats a crazy day for sure, I would have been mad as hell if some guy pulled a gun on me!
Around 17 years ago I and 'ex brother inlaw were coming home on the windy road from the shooting range after testing reloads, we both did some silhouette competiton back then. A ratty Plymouth Duster flashed by us on the single lane double yellow line road then locked up blocking the road app 50 yards ahead.
This Nubian person came back to us pointing a little silver .25 caliber.
He was underpowered as we both have Ruger Redhawk .44's with speed loaders hence we both shot at him while seated in the truck. He dropped his toy as he tried to get away but we I chased his vehicle as we put over 30 rounds into his POS vehicle gravely wounding Mr. Plymouth. He bailed as we pot shot around him as he climbed up the hill side full of poison oak. Put it in reverse and recovered his toy by the barrel and placed it in the now dead Dusters back seat floor. Dirty oil, antifreeze and gas were leaking when we got done. Home was 4 miles away then we reported it to the Sheriff's department. There was a rush up the hill with 5 cars. Yup it made the paper as he was a felon with warrants and a firearm. The Sheriff's stated in the paper they wanted other parties involved to step forward for answers, I don't think so, justice served. Was involved in a shootout years ago, other party almost bled out as dad took his time calling it in. Took over a year to get the Browning Highpower back as the police department "lost it" but reappeared 14 months later. Notice how everything becomes slow motion when under attack?

last year a freind was leaving another freinds house (in ghetto area) and happened to have his ar 15 in the cab of his truck. It is late at night and see's a minivan with its hood up and what looks like to be a family stranded. He pulls up and asks if they need help... They need his wallet and point a small caliber pistol at him. he grabs the AR and the people take off, with the hood up.....
Up here i heard that if you shot someone, even if it may be in self defense, you would catch more hell for it then the real criminal. Doesnt seem right!
Isn't it a big No, No to have a handgun north of the boarder?
Back in 77 I was on the northern end of Vancouver Island when I met a trooper, he noticed I had my handgun in the ice cooler. Told me to be careful until I went across the boarder. These days I would be in trouble I guess.
thats why i won't ever help anyone in this country, to much of a chance of it being some druggie or crazy criminal, if they need help, they can walk to go get it.
and thats why i always carry in my truck, whether its legal or not, no cop will be around when i am broke down and some guys decide they want to "help" me and my wife.
If I was in a car with my wife stuck out in a isloated desert and some guy walked up to our car with a revolver strapped openly to his side, and he was not ina badged uniform , I would draw my weapon on his butt too. How is a person supposed to know when a person is packing in the open, they are CCWP legal ?? ...
If your packin' without a star, no one cares who you are. You could be there to do harm and disarm, the very one you are trying to charm...
Also, this smokein' guy must be a real quick draw McGee , to be able to out draw someone that alreadyhas their weapon pointed at him. jmo
