It's almost Spring

in the Northern Hemisphere.

What are your NON-Automotive related plans for the next couple of months?

I have to try & finish the last 200 projects that are on the Honey-do list.

Now that the area has been dug up & the storm sewer replaced from last year, One of them projects is to design the front yard to something that people will like looking at.

I wish I could find a computer program that I can try different things out without lifting a shovel or rake

Aw 'cmon Dennis- I like the shovel and rake. Stress therapy. Did the front (and back) yard last year, now have to deal with a steep bank going down to the hillside. Wife wants a retaining wall (really, walls- plural). I'd like to landscape around the problem. Then there's the walk-out basement to sheetrock, tape, and texture.

I forget the name of it, it's something like 3D Home Architect or something like that, you can do landscaping with that.
My girlfriend already has my tax return spent on furniture, or so she tells me! I need to paint this place, fix the roof, maybe redo the drywall joints and paint the inside too. I'd like to insulate it and put new windows in, or burn it to the ground, but it's a rental.

jared beet me to it. 3d home from staples can let you place and move things around.
these spring time honey do lists can kill a guy. back yard here needs to be redone grass wise. think i'll get someone in and turn it all. then put down a jetson's lawn. sod farm is a very short haul away. thats a jetson lawn around here dirt one min. green the next. my own list is small. back truck in yard, hook up boat, install battery and fishing gear. then RUN

Well I got a few small jobs around the house to do...I got a toilet to replace, a couple doors to replace, a window to replace (yeah I got an old house!), a couple doorways to finish, and some yard work to do as well, which will have to wait another month or so till the snows gone and the ground thaws!

Yeah well - when the ground thaws out around here, it can get REAL swampy. (as in BURIES super swampers)

I think the first few paychecks are going into gravel for the side yard. The next ones will go to having a slab laid for a real driveway (so that my truck runs better on the PARKWAY).

I always hated having rocks in my back after I worked on things...

Lots of clean up and repairs to do around here, it never seems to end. Finish making screens for the windows, get the workshop area sorted out. Got to get some work done on my instruments as well. I need to finish building the fiddle, and finish building some shop tools so that I can proceed on the guitar. I'd like to have it done in time for the Wild Iris music festival in June... -TD

Well when the snow finally goes, usually around June or July I will work on the yard and finish my garage. Of course I will still go 20 miles up the road to do some snowmaching. Cant also forget the RV trips and 4wheeler trips exploring the vast remoteness of our state. That should keep me busy until the end of Sep when the snow is back. Darn summer is short.

Besides taking care of normal routine rental property concerns, I have an entire project house waiting to be remodeled.I have been saying that I am waiting on the weather to break to start.I used to really enjoy doing that kind of stuff. Now I am kind of burnt out on it or something.I took time off from it and I think it has just made it harder to start back up.Anyway, I am hoping the spring weather will give me a big boost.Good Luck and Happy Spring!

Luckily I don't have a honey-do list right now, so this is my list.

1. Load golf cart in truck.
2. Drive to golf course.
3. Unload golf cart.
4. Inquire about beer/golfing prices.
5. Beat the **** out of a little white ball.
6. Load cart in truck.
7. Go home.
and finally
8. Repeat 1 thru 7 as needed.

Nothing planned, but can't wait till the sun gets back into the vains. I have Fourth of July week off for vacation. Perhaps a trip to the New Jersey shore?
