I know this should really be posted down in the transmission forum and I posted there... but the super duty gets a ton more views...

So I was going to change out the fluid in my 2000, 5 spd today. I look in the manual and it says to use synthetic ATF Mercon... Ok... so I go down to Napa and they don't have Synthetic ATF, weird. So I ran to Wallyworld... They don't either.
IS There such a thing as synthetic ATF? Where can I get it? Can I use regular ATF Mercon or is that a no-no? I'd like to use the synthetic, but I can't find it?

I found synthetic Mobil 1 ATF at my local Auto Zone.
