Cruise Control Stopped Working

All of a sudden the cruise control on my 2000 Exp stopped working. When I press the Set Accel button the light will light up while I press the button but will not remain on or activate the cruise control. Could this be a fuse? Any ideas? Common experiences? Thanks as always, you guys have always answered my questions!

Could it just be a fuse though?

Disconnect your cruise switch on the master cylinder, usz. Cruise problems/inoperation was usually the only symptom of the switch failing prior to vehicle burning. Take it to your dealer like Monsta suggests.
