Angry A Ripping

I agree too. We hear they are pumping it as fast as they can, and China is all of a sudden sucking up so much, and the world is running out, and the sky really is falling, etc. and on.
Some of all of that is no doubt true BUT I believe someone along the line is also just plain ripping us off. Prices at the pump change faster then the price of a barrel of crude. If it's true about the obscene profits it means they could lower the price for us at the pump.

When/if the price gets high enough consumption will drop either because we all cut our driving or are forced to because of the recession/depression it will cause.
Opec and the oil companies won't be happy when consumption takes a big drop.

There's no need to when so many run those economical v10s . Did I mention that it's "only a $600.00 option"?

In Canada, we have oil, and our own gov't run oil company, but we still get fleeced. At least the middle east isnt seeing any of it.

OK,
I am responsible for post 108, and I stick by it wholeheartedly...
See the link attached "forecasting" the price of fuel over the summer. Can you say market manipulation???
This comes on the same day that oil & gas reserves are 5% higher than last year. (read the news)
This is coming from a government agency, or so it seems
BTW regular unleaded is consistently above 2.60/gal around the south bay area CA as of today, 4/7/05. Save your pennies.

Can You Say........................

Can you say $1.99 a gallon? Just got back from 2750 mile trip. Some stations in southern MO and southern MN have 87 octane for $1.99.
No we didn't make the trip with the new SD V10. We used our mini van and trip ave. was 27.8 mpg.

Gas prices will be going up again soon. Florida is expected to gas near 4.00 per gallon by the end of the year!

Why? I bet you a gallon of gas it don't hit $4.00 a gallon. It may go up and it may go down. Here it is $1.94 for 87 octane. And a mild winter is predicted which will have down pressure on gas and fuel oil price.

If people will pay 4 dollars it may sell for that someplace sometime. If people conserve there will be a surplus and price will go down. It is fun to predict high prices. Much more fun then predicting the price to go down. A couple months ago many were saying $5.00 or more a gallon by now etc.etc etc. etc.
I especially remember somone posting, "Can you say $5.00 a gallon?". Someday maybe but not for awhile unless you move to another country where it's already that high or more.

I higly doubt that. Prices have been dropping, and with ethanol blend gasoline, prices will/should drop even more.

you must have it in for me there good sir, 2 in 1 day,... I'm in the gas business and my information comes from a source that you are more then likely not privy to!
Sorry i didn't mean to offend you about being a Ford owner, but because you do drive a Ford, i hope that for some reason the gas prices do drop.
