removing windshield trim
i have a 94 f150 xlt and i am about to do a repaint how do you take of the metal windshield trim? how about the rear window tape it or remove it? i prefer to remove every thing than to tape as i hate mising a little spot that does not allow for touch up.

I just used a small, flatblade screwdriver to carefully pry up the windshield trim, starting at the seam on the passenger side. Once you get it started, you can see how easy the clips unhook. Install it the same way, in reverse order, pushing the trim pieces back down.
