EFI intake gaskets
I have a set of gaskets for my 393 that I am trying to put in so I am able to put the intake on. Mine are the type that have a little bead of what looks like silicone around the intake ports. It's only on one side, but I'm not sure which side this stuff is suppose to be on, the head side or the intake side. Anyone able to tell me?
Also, I'm going to run a bead of silcone on each end of the intake rather than the stupid gasket they give ya. Is there any proper procedure to putting the intake gaskets on? I've never done it before and don't want leaks.
