What Trans. Do I Have?

I just purchased a 2000 Ranger Supercab Flareside 2wd with a 3.0 FFV engine and automatic trans. with overdrive. What trans. is in my truck? I don't have an owners manual.

Is it a 5 sp? I'm pretty sure it's a 5R55E; that's what's in the 2000 Explorers with the V-6's, and Rangers should be the same.

5R44E if you have the 3.0 engine.
5R55E with a 4.0.
