Is it possible that a glitch in a rear diff. can act exactly like a failing T/C? I already replaced the T/C, tranny and parts in my transfer case. I am totally out of ideas on what is causing my shutter problem at about 38-50 mph. It happens both in (most severe) and out of OD at the same mph range. Any ideas on engine temp. being wrong and causing the wrong shift points? I'm at a total loss here. Any advice would be most appreciated.

Have you checked your u-joints and drive shaft. Most vibration comes from improperly assembled or damaged drivelines. It's hard to diagnose things like this over the net, but based on my experience when vibrations are speed sensitive the driveline is usually the cause.
