will this filter work on my 95???
Also, I am going to be purchasing a heavier trailer in a year or so (about 12,500lbs) and I want to make sure that I have no problem wtih the weight. Will an aftermarket exhaust, intake, and chip be enough? This truck looks brand new, and right now it has only 65,000 miles, so it is going to be here for quite a few more years.
If this paper filter works as well as the K&N, i would rather have to replace it occasionally than try to remember to keep the K&N oiled. I have also heard that you have to oil them more often on a diesel, the engine pulls so hard for air, that it can suck the oil right out of the filter . Anyone else heard this?
I never heard of it suckin the oil out of it, but the filtration quality of the K&N is not up to par for the PSD! Look ito a paper filter like shown above. Better results than a million mile filter IMO!
I took the old box out and put the new 6637 filter in, in less than 30 minutes. Mainly was looking for better filtration as my stock box had a crack in it. Plus at $45 for a better filter and definately some increase in power, it is well worth it.
