code scanner for 88' bronco
I'd like to get a code scanner for my 88' bronco, dose anyone have any advice? are there different manufactures? do they also work for the antilock brake's? I've never used one before but it seems like a must have for trouble shooting problems.

Scanners are nice, but you can pull the codes for nothing. All you have to do is ground out one of the pins in the ECU test port (don't rem which off the top of my head). Turn the key on and i think push the brake for Autos, and the clutch pedal for manuals. The check engine light will flash the codes. fordfuelinjection.com has more info.
