ford5.8...the first number is the tire cross-section width in mm. the second number is the "aspect ratio", which determines how tall the tire is, and is the percentage of the width.
For example, the 255-70 is 255 mm wide, and 178.5 mm tall (70% of 255).
To get the diameter in inches, we need the rim diameter....is it a 255-70 16??
