quiz this
heres a good one for ya, my neutral start switch on my tranny keeps blowing, the one that controls the ignition and reverse lights, problem is i cant find one with 4 wires, i can only find the 6 wire, ive looked EVERYWHERE, so twice ive bought the 6 wire, and rigged it to work, but they keep blowing out, which in itself is another story. heres the bottom line, my truck needs to be moved ASAP, and i dont have the 30 bux for a new switch. what wires do i cross to bypass this switch. its only temporary and i know its not a good idea, but its only for an hour or less, so they can snowplow around me, right now, i get no ignition. its never died completly, it usually will power the aux , with no crank..... wait a minute, do you think its my ignition and not the swicth?
