I Have A Wiring Nightmare...Please Help

As the title says I have a wiring disaster on my hands.

What I have is a 1985 Ford F-350 Rollback/Wrecker that WAS a 6.9 IDI Non-Turbo Diesel that has been converted to a 360/390 Carb Engine with Duraspark Ignition.

Let me start by saying that I've had wiring issues with this turd from day one....Every single thing right down to the signal lights have been hard wired around the fuse box..

The problem I'm having after a year and a half owning and running this truck,it all of a sudden started blowing Coils and/or DuraSpark Boxes. I've read a few articles on Blown Duraspark boxes as well as Blown Coils and I've come up with a couple possibilities:
1. Bad Engine Ground (CHECKED AND WENT THRU ALL)
2. A Short Circuit Somewhere

ALSO as far as I know the key switch ONLY locks the steering wheel.....To start there is a Push Button Wired in. To turn on the ignition it has a HOTT going to the battery and the other wire ties into the duraspark box.

My question is if I cut the big gob of wires coming from the fuse box, what would I need to hard wire into the duraspark to make it run?
Id prefer just to wire everything back new (to my standards) as well as all lighting and such as well... Anyone possibly have a schematic on the ignition wiring and inform me on what to wire up JUST to make it run right?

I KNOW I KNOW, this is just as much of a mess as it sounds....My goal here is to AT LEAST get the ignition wired up properly so its not blowing ignitions and coils, and then i can deal with everything else later.

Maybe this will help.

Note the ballast resistor in the circuit feeding the hot side of the coil in run. You should only have about 8 volts to the hot side of the coil in run. Also note the ignition bypass wire that feeds a temporary full 12 volt jolt to the coil only when cranking.

Also, I'm trying to recall the correct coil resistance...I think it's supposed to be about 1.3 ohms.

Anyway, too many volts to the coil, or the wrong coil resistance values (wrong coil), could fry stuff.

Thank you for your reply... That's actually a diagram I have not found yet.It is a little more detailed than the ones I have been looking at. Thanks hopefully that will send me in the right direction.
