1982 F150 value?
Have agreed to sell dad's old 82 ford lariat for mom,and was hoping to get some idea as to it's value in cash? It's a two tone blue/gray, and in ober all excellent cond, with a 351/auto,pwr window's/lock's, and what I hear is a fairly rare lariat trim package. Any advice as to what I should be asking for this truck?

Kelley Blue Book value for selling it to another individual, based on the information you gave me, and I guessed the rest, comes to around $1800. Will you get this? Probably not. They valued the truck I paid $325 for at $1500, so that gives you an idea. You can try the $1800 or maybe even $2000, but you probably won't get more than $1500 for it. You also failed to mention if it's a regular cab or supercab and if it is a longbed or shortbed. Since you know more about your particular truck than I do, go to www.kbb.com and click "my car's value" on the upper left. Also, instead of just guessing excellent condition, use the "rate it" option for condition to get a more accurate value (they may have a different definition of excellent). Good luck.
